Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; college preferred.
• Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician license required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with computer tools and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in formulation and preparation of medications.
• Operate electronic drug dispensing system (EDDS) and manage inventory.
• Prepare IV admixtures using aseptic techniques in USP-compliant environment.
• Repackage and label medications for distribution per records.
• Maintain medication storage conditions and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Triages calls and interacts with customers per hospital standards.
