Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead daily pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, and deliver patient-centered care across immunizations, testing, and clinical services. You will manage workflow, inventory, and staff performance while upholding regulatory and company policies.

The role emphasizes exceptional patient experience, collaboration with healthcare providers, and driving performance through training, process improvements, and accurate recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited program.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
• Experience with state and federal controlled substances laws.
• Leadership track record or clear potential as reflected in performance reviews.

Responsabilités

• Engage patients and resolve issues to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Dispense medications accurately and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Oversee pharmacy workflow, scheduling, and staff performance.
• Lead staff training and formal performance reviews.
• Support in community health initiatives and immunization services.
• Maintain IT systems and inventory management; drive productivity.
• Develop relationships with local medical community to promote growth.
