Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead a busy community pharmacy, delivering expert medication counseling, immunizations, and clinical services while ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient operations.

You will oversee dispensing, drug safety, staffing, and performance management, focused on expanding patient-centered care and optimizing workflow in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D and licensed to practice.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, and pharmacy operations.
• Experience with state and federal regulations and Good Faith Dispensing practices.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients by greeting them and assisting with products and services.
• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy considerations; refers when needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures pharmacy operates in compliance with regulations and company policies; manages staff scheduling and workflow.
• Provides immunizations, diagnostic testing, and disease state management; supports clinical services.
• Collaborates with Store Manager to develop opportunities and maintain inventory and IT systems.
