Walgreens in Alpharetta, GA seeks a Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional patient care. Responsibilities span patient counseling, clinical services, workflow optimization, and collaboration with store leadership to grow the health services footprint in the community.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsabilités

• Provides empathetic pharmacy consulting services and immunizations to patients.
• Counsels patients on medication usage, interactions, side effects and safety.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and efficient pharmacy workflow; oversees staff scheduling and performance.
• Manages inventory and supports IT needs of pharmacy systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Partners with Store Manager to develop new business opportunities and promote health services.
