Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead daily pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, provide empathetic patient counseling, and drive excellent service. You will supervise staff, oversee inventory, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role emphasizes expanding clinical services such as immunizations and drug therapy reviews while partnering with the Store Manager to grow the pharmacy's patient-centered care and financial performance.

Formación

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required and active licensure in the district.
• Certified Immunizer status or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, compliance and patient safety.
• Experience with immunizations, drug therapy reviews, and medication management is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and OTC alternatives.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and dispenses prescribed medications per regulations and policies.
• Ensures compliant and efficient pharmacy workflow, staffing, and scheduling.
• Maintains pharmacy information systems including inventory, POS, and documentation.
• Provides immunizations and diagnostic services as required by policy.
