Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in the states within the district or eligible to obtain
• 1+ year pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, and insurance billing
• Immunizer certification or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
• Strong leadership, compliance with regulatory requirements, and patient safety focus

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medications, interactions, and safety
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management
• Reviews, interprets, and dispenses prescribed medications according to regulations
• Oversees pharmacy workflow, staffing, scheduling, and training to maintain efficiency
• Ensures Good Faith Dispensing and compliance with state and federal laws
• Collaborates with Store Manager to identify growth opportunities and improve services
• Maintains pharmacy IT systems, inventory management, and billing processes
• Resolves insurance claims with providers and third parties
• Provides immunizations and other wellness services as part of patient care
• Maintains relationships with local medical community to promote health services
