Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in required states
• Immunizer certification or willing to become one within 90 days
• 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, compliance, operations, software and insurance billing
• Knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medicine usage, side effects, and interactions
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management
• Dispense medications accurately and ensure regulatory compliance
• Oversee pharmacy workflow, scheduling, and staff supervision
• Maintain IT knowledge of pharmacy systems and support staff and patients
• Follow Good Faith Dispensing policy with legal requirements
• Develop strategic opportunities with Store Manager
• Analyze pharmacy financials, inventory, and performance trends
• Build relationships with local medical community
• Lead training and performance reviews
• Ensure timely immunizations and diagnostic testing
• Open/close the pharmacy and manage shifts
