Job summary

Zai Lab Limited seeks an Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology & MIDD to lead pharmacology strategy across programs, from early development through regulatory submission. You will drive PK/PD, population PK, PBPK, and translational modeling, coordinating with Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Regulatory Affairs, and external partners.

Qualifications

• BS in Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacometrics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Systems Pharmacology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with 10 years in clinical pharmacology or quantitative sciences.
• PhD with at least 7 years of related experience is preferred.
• Experience leading modeling activities and regulatory interactions.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Clinical Pharmacology and MIDD strategy from early development to registration and lifecycle management.
• Develop integrated PK/PD, population PK, exposure‑response, PBPK, and translational modeling plans.
• Ensure rigorous, regulatory-compliant analyses and effective communication to leadership.
• Mentor junior scientists and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and health authorities.
