Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a leader in clinical pharmacology to lead the pharmacology strategy for the Internal Medicine portfolio, focusing on model-informed drug development (MIDD) to advance efficient decision-making in early and late-stage programs.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, integrating PK/PD data, designing dose regimens, supporting INDs and NDAs, and mentoring the team while staying current with regulatory guidance and scientific literature.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience in clinical pharmacology, pharmacometrics, or systems pharmacology.
• Strong quantitative skills including experience with NONMEM, R, or similar tools; demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee clinical pharmacology strategies
• Integrate PK/PD knowledge
• Contribute to clinical development plans
• Support regulatory submissions (IND, NDA/MAA)
• Collaborate with multifunctional teams; coach team members and stay current with literature and regulatory guidance
