Advocate Health’s Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center – Pharmacy is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist (PRN, part-time) at the Winston Campus. The role oversees medication therapy, provides patient counseling, and leads safety and quality initiatives in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Candidates must be a Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy with NC licensure in good standing. PGY1, board certification, and teaching/mentoring experience are preferred. This position emphasizes patient safety and teamwork.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy.
• Current North Carolina Pharmacy Board license in good standing.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees pharmaceutical care, evaluating literature and designing medication therapy regimens.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on medication therapy, adherence and safety.
• Designs and monitors patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens based on biomedical literature.
• Reviews medication orders and prescriptions.
• Supports medication safety and quality improvement activities.
• Collaborates with healthcare team on formulary adherence.
• Prepares, dispenses, and ensures proper storage of medications.
• Serves as preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.
• Mentors pharmacy teammates and trainees.
• Directs and checks pharmacy support staff to ensure safety and efficiency.
