Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join the clinical, teaching, research and distribution system. These activities include profile review, TPN order writing, Pharmacokinetics, Renal Drug Dosing, Medication Reconciliation, Chemotherapy Order Review entry and validation in Beacon CHEMotherapy EMR, and precepting pharmacy students and residents.

Under general supervision, responsible for provision and documentation of medications and medication-related services to patients,

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or equivalent clinical experience.
• Registered Pharmacist in California (RPH).
• Pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document medications and medication-related services to patients.
• Serve as preceptor to pharmacy residents and students.
• Participate in Medical Center and Departmental committees and promote institution-wide medication use policy.
