Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Night Pharmacist for the Inpatient Pharmacy team at the East Campus. The role integrates clinical, teaching, research, and distribution activities including pharmacokinetics, TPN, chemo order review, and precepting Skaggs School of Pharmacy students and residents in a 7-on/7-off schedule with holidays.

Under supervision, the Staff Pharmacist ensures medication provision and documentation, participates in center-wide policy and committee work, and supports

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or equivalent clinical experience.
• Registered Pharmacist in California (RPH).
• Pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document medications and medication-related services to patients under supervision.
• Participate in profile review, pharmacokinetics, renal dosing, medication reconciliation, and chemotherapy order review entry/validation (Beacon EMR).
• Precept pharmacy students and residents; participate in committees and promote medication use policies.

Education

Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or equivalent clinical experience

Registered Pharmacist - California (RPH)
