Job summary

BayCare in Tampa, FL is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist - Pediatrics to join our patient‑centered pharmacy team. This full-time exempt role supports the hospital mission by providing expert pharmaceutical care and ensuring patient safety.

Shifts are 7:00 am–3:30 pm or 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, with weekends every third and no on‑call duties. Required licensure: Pharmacist in the State of Florida; a PharmD is preferred and ASHP‑accredited PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy is a plus.

Qualifications

• Required: Pharmacist – State of FL
• Preferred: Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy
• Required: Bachelor’s Degree
• Preferred: PharmD

Responsibilities

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Clinical Pharmacist - Pediatrics position details:

• Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital
• Location: Tampa, FL
• Status: Full time, exempt
• Shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm, 2:30 pm - 11 pm
• Weekend Work: Every 3rd
• On Call: No

Clinical Pharmacist Responsibilities:
