Job summary

Mercy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications, verify orders, monitor patient therapy, and serve as a resource for clinicians and patients.

The role requires a BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited school and an active pharmacist license; retail experience is preferred. You will supervise pharmacy staff and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Education: BS or PharmD from ACPE-accredited program.
• Preferred Experience: Previous retail experience.
• Licensure: Current pharmacist license from the State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the preparation and dispensing of medication, and verification of medication orders.
• Monitors patient medication therapy and provides information to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Identifies and resolves medication-related problems through physician intervention.
• Supervises pharmacy support personnel to ensure timely medication administration.
• Follows policies, procedures, and regulatory standards in job duties.

Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from ACPE-accredited school
