Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist in onsite Memphis, TN to ensure safe, effective specialty infusion therapies and to support clinical decision-making across care teams.

You’ll review prescriptions, educate patients, monitor therapies, and collaborate with Intake, Reimbursement, Nursing, and Pharmacy Operations to deliver high-quality care while maintaining compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Tennessee.
• Strong understanding of specialty medications and specialty pharmacy operations.
• Experience providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate patient records and medication regimens to support safe therapy management.
• Provide comprehensive patient counseling and education regarding specialty medications.
• Monitor drug therapies and recommend clinical interventions when needed.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to support seamless patient care.
• Support onboarding and referral processes to help patients access therapy efficiently.
• Oversee pharmacy technician activities and ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, FDA, and state boards.
• Serve as a clinical escalation point for prescription and patient care concerns.
• Participate in quality improvement, audits, and training initiatives.
