Qualifications

• PharmD from ACPE-accredited college.
• Active Missouri Pharmacy License in good standing with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong command of English; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume prescription verification with strong attention to detail.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn pharmacy management systems, verification platforms, and internal workflow tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and clinically verify prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness, interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy.
• Validate prescription data entry performed by pharmacy technicians, ensuring transcription accuracy.
• Perform pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a closed‑door environment, ensuring accuracy of drug, dose, quantity, NDC, and labeling.
• Conduct daily prospective drug utilization review (DUR) to identify and resolve clinical flags before fulfillment.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians across data entry, processing, packaging, and fulfillment workflows.
