Qualifications

• Proven ability to learn pharmacy management systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Verify new and refill prescriptions for safety and dosing accuracy.
• Validate data entry by technicians and confirm transcription accuracy.
• Conduct pharmacist verification before shipment in closed-door facility.
• Perform daily prospective drug utilization review (DUR).
• Handle specialty medication oversight including cold-chain requirements.
• Provide proactive patient counseling by phone and through digital platforms.
• Document patient interactions thoroughly in the pharmacy system.
• Collaborate with prescribers to resolve incomplete or ambiguous orders.
• Supervise technicians and ensure compliance with state boards and policies.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and overall quality and safety standards.
