Job summary

Omnicare, now operating as an independent organization after the CVS Health sale, seeks a full-time Consultant Pharmacist in Georgia. This role entails clinical reviews to ensure regulatory compliance, with travel as needed, and close collaboration with Account Management, Sales, and Operations.

A Georgia license is required, preferably with LTC experience, and residency near Macon is expected. Salary ranges from $106,200 to $168,750 annually, with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO,

Qualifications

• Active Georgia pharmacy license in good standing.
• Residence in Macon, Georgia or surrounding area.
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities remain compliant with federal regulations.
• Complete clinical reviews as required by federal and state regulation.
• Own issue resolution and communicate early warning signs of potential issues.
• Drive adoption of Omnicare programs and service offerings.
• Use existing customer relationships to promote and drive organic growth as well as new business.
• Conduct Executive Reviews and other customer meetings as required.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, Operations, and appropriate corporate functions to meet overall site goals and objectives.
• Perform Medication Regimen Reviews (MRR) and provide written reports of these reviews to applicable facility staff
• Spend an appropriate amount of time on each resident's review as defined by their clinical needs
• Use OSC2OR software on-site to generate MRR and document responses to recommendations
• Utilize the MDS 3.0 health assessment tool to identify residents needing targeted focuses
• Complete the Quality Improvement reports for facilities and transmit monthly summaries
• Educate facility staff when new programs are implemented and perform functions required of new programs
