Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, FL. The role is full-time, exempt with two shift options: 7:00AM-3:30PM or 2:30PM-11:00PM. The pharmacist will support patient safety, drug therapy optimization, and cost minimization while delivering exceptional customer service.

Required: FL Pharmacist license and Bachelor’s Degree; ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred. Benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) match, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed in Florida (state license required).
• Bachelor’s degree required for the position.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred for enhanced readiness.

• Prevent, identify, and resolve drug-related problems to assure patient safety.
• Improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs through optimal pharmacotherapy.

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Certifications and Licensure:

• Required: Pharmacist - State of FL
• Preferred: Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
