Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a full-time Specialty Clinical Pharmacist to join the Case Management Pharmacy team in Norfolk, VA. The role emphasizes safe, effective medication use, MTM, and patient counseling, with varied daytime hours.

The ideal candidate will hold a PharmD with VA licensure, BLS, ACLS preferred, and experience with specialty meds. You will precept students, support transitions of care, and participate in quality initiatives and Epic/JIVA workflows.

Qualifications

  • Pharmacist with strong drug counseling and specialty medication knowledge.
  • Ability to manage complex therapy in a clinical setting.
  • Licensure in Virginia and BLS; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and prompt pharmaceutical care in specialty pharmacy.
  • Assess and optimize patient drug therapy per clinical standards.
  • Precept students and support training for new staff.
