Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily lab operations, supervise staff, implement instrumentation, and ensure compliance with GDCH, CAP, CLIA, OSHA, FDA and TJC.

You will manage personnel, train staff, validate results, evaluate new instruments, and handle administrative duties while ensuring regulatory adherence and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience.
• Certifications such as MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage laboratory personnel and ensure accurate, timely test reporting.
• Develop and implement staff training and SOP adherence.
• Perform routine lab duties to validate results and ensure quality.
• Evaluate new instrumentation and procedures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Handle payroll, scheduling, supply ordering and inventory management.
• Collaborate with lab manager to address complaints and monitor testing protocols.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
