Candidates hold a Bachelor's in Medical Technology or related field (Master's preferred), ASCP MT/MLS certification, and at least five years of lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Medical Technology, Medical Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Certifications such as MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or equivalent required upon hire.
• Minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages department staff to ensure accurate and timely laboratory testing, aiding patient care.
• Develops and implements training programs for new staff, maintains adherence to federal and regulatory standards, and performs routine technologist duties to validate results.
• Evaluates new equipment and procedures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensures compliance with organizational policies and standards.
