Thousand Branches Wellness in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Clinical Outreach Liaison to expand access to Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) with a clinical outreach focus.

This field-based role builds relationships with referral partners, educates on levels of care, and supports timely referrals while aligning with program priorities. Evening or weekend events may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Active licensure or registration strongly preferred.
• 1–3+ years of behavioral health experience preferred.
• Ability to translate clinical concepts for non-clinical audiences.
• Experience with outreach and referral tracking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute outreach plans focused on clinically appropriate referral development.
• Build and maintain relationships with therapists, psychiatrists, hospitals, and providers.
• Educate partners on levels of care, treatment modalities, and placement criteria.
• Determine when IOP is appropriate level of care with clinical knowledge.
• Conduct regular in-person outreach, meetings, and follow-ups.
• Coordinate with Admissions and clinical teams to support referrals.

Responsibilities

Clinical Outreach Liaison- IOP Mental Health

We are seeking a Clinical Outreach Liaison to support access to care for our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Thousand Branches Wellness in Tulsa, OK. through clinically informed community outreach and referral engagement. This role is responsible for the execution of outreach activities with a strong clinical lens, ensuring referral partners are supported in identifying appropriate level-of-care placements. Working within established outreach priorities, the Liaison will serve as a clinical resource in the community, helping bridge gaps between providers and treatment services.

This is a field-based, externally focused role and does not include responsibility for internal program operations, staffing, or clinical service delivery. This position may entail evening and/or weekend hours as needed for community events.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute assigned outreach plans with a focus on clinically appropriate referral development
• Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, including therapists, psychiatrists, hospitals, and community providers
• Serve as a clinical resource to the community by educating partners on levels of care, treatment modalities, and appropriate placement criteria
• Utilize clinical knowledge to support referral partners in determining when IOP is an appropriate level of care
• Conduct regular in-person outreach, meetings, and follow-ups to maintain strong community presence
• Collaborate with Admissions and clinical teams to support appropriate and timely referral transitions
• Communicate relevant clinical updates and program information to referral sources
• Track outreach activity and referral trends to support consistency and follow-through

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field required
• Active licensure or registration strongly preferred
• 1–3+ years of experience in behavioral health (clinical, case management, or utilization review experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of behavioral health diagnoses and levels of care (IOP/PHP/residential)
• Ability to communicate clinical concepts clearly to both clinical and non-clinical audiences
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust within the provider community
• Ability to work independently in a structured, field-based role

Preferred Experience

• Experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment settings
• Background in assessment, case management, or care coordination
• Familiarity working with military populations, veterans, or veteran-serving organizations
• Established relationships within the behavioral health community
• Experience with CRM or referral tracking systems
