Walmart Inc. is seeking an Associate Optometrist to join the Hazle Township, PA team. You will partner with the Vision Center Manager to deliver evidence-based eye care, including prescribing medications and coordinating patient care plans with healthcare colleagues.

Ideal candidates hold a Doctor of Optometry degree, maintain active licensure, and bring EMR/EHR experience plus a focus on ocular disease management and patient education in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualificações

• Doctoral degree in Optometry from an accredited optometry school.
• Licensed optometrist in good standing in the state of practice.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems.
• Experience treating and managing ocular disease.
• Openness to new equipment and instrumentation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide evidence-based vision care and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Deliver routine vision care following evidence-based guidelines.
• Educate patients and staff on eye health, lens care and safety.
• Consult with other health professionals to develop patient care plans.
