Job summary

RSM US LLP's National Healthcare Consulting practice is seeking an experienced Manager to support the Clinical Operations practice and delivery of complex healthcare transformations. This role expects independent leadership of workstreams, client interactions, and creation of actionable implementation plans.

The Manager will drive operational assessments, develop recommendations, manage project teams, and contribute to proposals and business development efforts across multiple engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; clinical background preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive healthcare experience in operations, leadership, or consulting.
• Experience in hospitals/health systems or ambulatory settings.
• Experience leading projects, workstreams, or multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Experience developing executive-level PowerPoint deliverables.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Co-Pilot; familiarity with Google Sheets, Tableau and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage and continuity across client engagements, proposals, and priorities.
• Lead operational assessments across hospital, ambulatory, and other healthcare settings.
• Manage clinical operations and performance improvement workstreams focusing on cost, quality, workforce, productivity, and revenue.
• Conduct current-state assessments, workflow analysis, data review, benchmarking, and opportunities.
• Translate findings into practical recommendations and implementation plans.
• Develop high-quality client deliverables and executive presentations.
• Provide day-to-day project leadership, including workplans, issue resolution, and milestones.
• Collaborate with client executives, clinical leaders, and operational leaders.
• Support RFP responses, proposals, and business development activities.
• Scope engagements, estimate resources, and identify SME resources.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and leverage firm capabilities.
• Review project work products for quality and executive readiness.
• Support implementation and change management.
• Build relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Contribute to development of methodologies, tools, and playbooks.
• Represent the Clinical Operations practice in internal and client meetings.
