Job summary

Adelante Healthcare in Arizona seeks a Medical Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of a small site and supervise non-clinical and clinical staff. You will coordinate schedules, patient flow, billing and records to deliver high-quality, safe care.

The role requires CPR/AED certification, a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, and 4+ years in healthcare with leadership experience. You’ll lead staff meetings, supervise budgeting, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with advanced training.
• CPR and AED certification per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card for behavioral health sites.
• Minimum four years healthcare experience with three years in leadership or two in coordinator role.
• Clinical competency with Medical Assistant or nursing background.
• Strong problem solving and leadership abilities.
• Experience with QA/QI and improving patient outcomes.
• Proficient in using technology and EHR systems; MS Office.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto insurance compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate staff performance; maintain documentation.
• Maintain time and attendance records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Recruit, interview, orient, train and mentor staff.
• Organize staff schedules and cover as needed.
• Identify financial status of patients regarding fees and eligibility.
• Conduct monthly staff meetings with agendas and minutes.
• Oversee scheduling, billing and records scanning.
• Monitor appointments, patient flow and waiting areas.
• Ensure courteous treatment and resolve patient complaints.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external customers.
• Anticipate staff and patient needs; provide solutions.
• Coach staff and work with manager on corrective actions.
• Lead quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Support organizational goals, policies, procedures and systems.
• Monitor center expenditures and manage supply inventory.
• Monitor productivity and financial standards; assist budget decisions.
• Oversee deposits, day sheet reconciliation and receivables.
• Budgeting and expenditure monitoring; procurement of supplies.
• Review correspondence and answer inquiries; credentialing and competency documentation.
• Prepare reports; coordinate facility maintenance and inventory control.
• Safety checks, logs and incident reporting; Joint Commission compliance.
• Promote multi-language communication; travel to other locations as needed.
