Job summary

Guardant Health, Inc. seeks a Manager of Clinical Operations to oversee technical operations of the Clinical Laboratory in a hybrid, on-site environment in Redwood City/San Francisco Bay Area.

The role requires ensuring CLIA/CAP compliance, supervising staff, and driving QA and process improvements. Ideal candidates have extensive clinical lab experience, leadership ability, and strong communication, with proficiency in lab automation and daily test processing needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Laboratory Science or related field.
• Eight+ years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Two+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, FDA QSR and ISO 13485 is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor molecular testing and quality control results.
• Oversee training and competency of laboratory staff.
• Review SOPs and contribute to procedure writing.
• Lead audits, inspections, and QA activities.
• Support daily operations and associate scheduling.
