Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited institution or applicable certification.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Proficiency in EKG and phlebotomy.
• Progressive leadership with coaching ability.
• Knowledge of medical insurance eligibility and authorization rules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MA staff and patient care activities at a Faculty Group Practice site.
• Manage attendance, schedules, and payroll for direct reports.
• Plan, coordinate and schedule the activities of medical assistants and participate in patient care planning.
• Act as liaison between clinical staff and physicians to ensure effective service for patients.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient privacy in daily operations.
