Job summary

Columbus Regional Health is seeking a Clinical Lead to provide leadership and support to physicians and the medical practice. The role continues patient care in line with staffing needs, overseeing back-office operations and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate schedules, maintain supplies, train staff, and act as Epic superuser to implement new processes. Strong clinical leadership and AP/MA certification are required, with LPN licensure on hire in Indiana.

Qualifications

• One of the following education options required: MA/Nursing/PN program or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years in a physician office setting
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• MA certification from AAMA/AMT/CAAHEP/NCCT or ABR-OE credentialing accepted
• Indiana LPN license required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Ensures all patients are roomed on time.
• Manages back-office staff schedule with coverage during absences.
• Maintains adequate supply of clinical forms and coordinates restocking.
• Leads back-office staff meetings and related communications.
• Coordinates maintenance and repair of clinical equipment.
• Performs routine back-office/patient care duties as scheduled.
• Manages inventory of medical supplies and lab reagents.
• Ensures CLIA compliance and lab policy adherence.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with authorities.
• Directs training on new processes in Epic.
• Performs duties of CRHP Medical Assistant when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
