Mount Sinai Health System in New York seeks a Coordinator to support the Practice Manager in developing MOS personnel, monitoring formulary expenditures, and balancing clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient patient care.

You will help streamline patient flow, assist in MOS workflows and coverage scheduling, and liaise with administrative staff to resolve scheduling, transportation and financial hardship issues.

Qualificações

• 5 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Patient flow management & coordination
• Patient triage strategy
• Development of MOS workflows and protocols
• Training and development of MOS staff
• Resolution of complex patient related issues in scheduling, transportation and financial hardship
• Creation of MOS coverage schedules
• Clinical inventory maintenance and tracking
• Adherence to Health System MOSclinical practices
• Appraises supervisors of problems beyond the scope of own knowledge and expertise
• Assists with procedures as necessary including echocardiogram, sigmoidoscopy, proctoscopy, nasal scope, colposcopy, biopsy, LEEP, laser and cystoscopy

Formação académica

Medical Assistant – 5 years experience

Associate Degree Preferred
