Job summary

The Center for Neurosciences in Tucson, AZ seeks an experienced Operations/Clinical Supervisor to oversee daily workflows and train medical assistants. You will ensure compliance with clinical protocols, monitor quality of care, and coordinate staffing with the operations team.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, refining processes, and delivering excellent patient service while maintaining HIPAA compliance and clinic standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification from an accredited institution preferred.
• Minimum one year of recent medical facility experience as a medical assistant.
• CPR certification up to date preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills patient care responsibilities for assigned physicians and/or other areas as needed.
• Works with manager to develop and monitor processes related to medical and administrative patient care.
• Supervises and evaluates assigned staff; provides training and orientation.
• Ensures department is adequately equipped with supplies and inventory; coordinates ordering.
• Participates in quality improvement processes; adheres to HIPAA and clinic standards.
• Coordinates staff schedules to meet changing workload needs.
• Provides professional and technical support to staff, including training new hires.
• Supports organization in absence of Clinical Supervisor/Director of Operations.
• Maintains patient rights and responds to emergencies with professionalism.
