Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree.
• Registered Pharmacist issued by the state of California (RPH).
• Incumbents can meet minimum experience qualifications via PGY2, or PGY1+1 year, or 4 years pharmacist experience.

Responsibilities

• Medication Review and Verification of chemotherapy regimens.
• Oversee chemotherapy admixture and dispensing with safety protocols.
• Provide comprehensive patient counseling in the infusion setting.
• Serve as a preceptor to residents and students.
• Participate in Disease Team lead, Cancer Center, and Department of Pharmacy committees.
• Contribute to medication use policy development for oncology care.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance safety and effectiveness.
