Job summary

UC San Diego Health's Infusion Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients receiving chemotherapy infusions in ambulatory oncology settings at Moores Cancer Center and Koman Outpatient Pavilion.

The role includes medication review, chemotherapy admixture, patient counseling, and serving as a preceptor for residents and students, with participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or equivalent clinical experience.
Registered Pharmacist - California (RPH) license.
One of: PGY2 Oncology; PGY1 plus 1 year pharmacist experience; or 4 years pharmacist experience.

Responsibilities

Review and verify chemotherapy regimens for accuracy.
Oversee preparation and dispensing of chemotherapy medications.
Provide comprehensive patient counseling in infusion centers.
