UnitedHealth Group's Optum NY/NJ seeks a friendly Clinical Assistant to join our West Nyack, NY team. You will support the care team with scheduling, patient intake, data entry and HIPAA-compliant communications to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The role offers standard business hours (Mon–Fri, 7:00 am–3:00 pm) with a focus on teamwork, accuracy and patient satisfaction. You will uphold Lean processes and help deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with multiple applications including Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities in a healthcare setting.
• Customer service or healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to standards of professionalism set by the Practice.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant communications with patients and staff.
• Supports scheduling, patient intake and data entry for clinic operations.
