Richland-Post-Acute is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, design individualized treatment plans, and supervise COTAs and aides. The role involves collaboration with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support discharge planning and functional independence.

You will provide education to residents and staff, maintain compliant documentation, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance rehabilitation services in the facility.

Formación

• Evaluates residents to determine OT needs and rehab potential.
• Communicates progress with families, physicians, and health team.
• Maintains compliant documentation in medical records.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and independence.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and aides in resident care.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and therapists in care planning and discharge planning.
• Provide in-services and training to facility staff on therapy goals and procedures.
• Contribute to quality assurance and rehabilitation program development.
