Job summary

RICHLANDPA is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop and monitor treatment plans, and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants within a facility setting. You will coordinate with physicians and families, ensure accurate documentation, and contribute to quality care and discharge planning.

The role emphasizes infection control, safety, and ongoing staff training to support mobility, independence, and rehab goals for residents.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.
• CPR certification if required by licensure.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and aides.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding progress and discharge planning.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and educate residents and caregivers.
