Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Clinical Nursing Student to provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN in the Orthopedic Unit at West Hospital. The role offers clinical exposure through job shadowing and hands-on care within scope under delegation.

Responsibilities include assisting with vital signs, hygiene, mobility, documenting care, and communicating changes to the nursing staff. Must be enrolled in nursing program and complete one rotation; BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• HS/GED (required)
• Currently enrolled in a nursing program and has completed one clinical nursing course and one clinical rotation (required)
• EPIC EHR training (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Document vital signs and care activities accurately.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient mobility.
