The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Nursing invites applications for multiple full-time, 9-month instructor or lecturer positions at Lake Nona. The roles focus on clinical and didactic teaching across the lifespan, with mentorship and curriculum development as part of the duties.

Rank will be determined by credentials and experience. The positions involve on-campus labs, simulation, and active participation in governance and service within the college.

Qualifications

• Earned Doctorate in Nursing or related field at time of application.
• Unencumbered RN license; Florida licensure by hire date.
• CPR/BLS certification by hire date; active.
• 2+ years inpatient clinical experience in relevant areas.
• Experience teaching at bachelor’s level or above.

Responsibilities

• Teach direct clinical portions of courses in inpatient units.
• Teach on-campus labs and simulation activities.
• Deliver didactic courses in pediatric, adult/geriatric, family, or mental health areas.
• Plan, organize, and deliver instruction; promote student success.
• Advise and mentor students; participate in governance and service.
