Job summary

The College of Nursing at the University of Central Florida invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure earning faculty position in the Department of Nursing Systems to teach in the online RN-BSN program. The position will be located on the UCF Academic Health Sciences Campus at Lake Nona and is expected to start Spring 2027 or Fall 2027.

The appropriate rank (instructor, associate instructor, or senior instructor) will be determined based on the selected candidate's credentials

Qualifications

Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Unencumbered RN license; FL licensure expected by date of hire; multi-state endorsement expected by date of hire.
Documented full-time teaching experience (online, hybrid, and/or classroom) in an academic setting.

Responsibilities

Teach in the online RN-BSN program.
Plan, organize, and deliver instruction that supports student learning and success.
Support the College of Nursing mission and departmental efforts to advance excellence in teaching and learning.
Collaborate with the department chair, program director, and faculty colleagues to plan, develop, and improve courses and curricula.
Advise and mentor students and, as appropriate to rank, support adjunct faculty and early-career faculty.
Participate in department, college, and university service, including committee leadership as appropriate to rank.
