University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for multiple full-time, 9-month, non-tenure earning Lecturer/Associate/Senior Lecturer positions in the College of Nursing, Nursing Systems. Roles involve teaching online leadership and management courses across MSN and DNP programs from the Lake Nona campus, with a Fall 2027 start.

The ideal candidates bring documented teaching excellence, a nursing doctorate or health-related PhD, and RN licensure with Florida endorsement by hire.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in nursing or a health-related field from an accredited institution at the time of application.
• Graduate degree in nursing (master's degree in nursing if doctoral degree is not in nursing).
• Unencumbered RN license. Florida licensure expected by date of hire; multi-state endorsement expected by date of hire.
• Documented teaching experience (online, hybrid, and/or classroom) in an academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Teach online courses in the MSN -Leadership and Management Program, DNP -Executive Program, and other graduate or undergraduate courses as assigned and qualified.
• Plan, organize, and deliver instruction that supports student learning and success.
• Support the College of Nursing mission and departmental efforts to advance excellence in teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with the department chair and faculty colleagues to plan, develop, and improve courses and curricula.
• Advise and mentor students and, as appropriate to rank, support adjunct faculty and early-career faculty.
• Participate in department, college, and university service, including committee leadership as appropriate to rank.
