Job summary

Cedarhurst of Crown Point is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, coordinate, and evaluate resident care in line with physician orders, individualized service plans, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and current state license required at all times.
• 1+ years nursing experience preferred but new graduates welcome.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide services in accordance with nurse practice act and state/federal nursing center regulations.
• Direct care staff regarding residents' needs with the Director of Nursing.
• Review and revise assessments and care plans at admission and changes in condition.
• Administer and document medications following the five rights.
• Promote safety and effective communication with residents, families, physicians, and leadership.
