Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, reporting to the Director of Nursing. You will deliver, coordinate, and evaluate resident care in alignment with physician orders, individual service plans, and regulatory standards.

The role blends hands-on clinical duties with leadership responsibilities to guide care staff and promote safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and a current state license for LPN or RN is required at all times.
• 1+ years of nursing experience preferred but new graduates are welcome.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and any HR-related systems as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services in accordance with nursing center regulations.
• Direct care staff under the Director of Nursing regarding resident needs.
• Review and revise assessments and care plans at admission and changes.
• Administer and document medications following the five rights.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and scheduling appointments.
• Promote safety, communicate with families and physicians.
