Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and coordinate resident care under the Director of Nursing. The role combines hands-on clinical duties with leadership responsibilities, guiding staff, and ensuring person-centered care in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and a current state license for LPN or RN is required at all times.
• 1+ years of nursing experience preferred but new graduates are welcome.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with nurse practice acts and regulations.
• Coordinate care with the Director of Nursing and supervise care staff.
• Review and revise assessments and care plans at admission and with changes in condition.
• Administer and document medications following the five rights and document MAR entries.
• Support fall prevention, safety initiatives, and effective communication with residents and families.
