Job summary

Cedarhurst Living in Crown Point, IN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, coordinate, and evaluate resident care under the Director of Nursing, following physician orders and standardized care plans.

You will lead care staff, ensure safety and effective communication with families, physicians, and leadership, administer medications, monitor residents, participate in care planning, and promote a resident-centered, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and a current state license for LPN or RN is required at all times.
• 1+ years of nursing experience preferred but new graduates are welcome.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services in accordance with nursing practice acts and regulations.
• Direct and oversee care staff to meet each resident’s needs.
• Review and revise assessments and care plans at admission, regulation milestones, and changes in condition.
• Administer and document medications, and support physicians with examinations as needed.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and leadership to ensure coordinated care.
