Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an experienced RN to provide direct patient care in a 30-bed GYN Oncology unit in Missouri. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, educate patients and families, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with oncology nurses, APNs, case managers, social workers, and physicians to coordinate high-acuity, complex interventions and holistic care.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/ASN with RN licensure required.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred; minimum 2 years oncology or related experience.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness.

This position involves providing direct patient care in a specialized 30-bed unit focused on female-related health issues, primarily GYN Oncology. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The nurse educates patients and families on managing illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team—including oncology nurses, advanced practice nurses, case managers, social workers, and physicians is essential to coordinate high acuity, complex interventions, and holistic care.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Must possess a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN licensure.
• Preferred candidates have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
