Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide direct patient care to oncology patients in a 32-bed unit, including Bone Marrow Transplant and Oncology services. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care with a multidisciplinary team.

You will educate patients and families, promote safe, patient- and family-centered care, and participate in quality improvement activities while maintaining cultural sensitivity and strong communication.

Qualifications

• RN license required; ADN or BSN preferred.
• 2+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree are preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a high-acuity environment.

• Coordinate and document individualized care plans with team and patient input.

Job description

Provides direct patient care to oncology patients in a 32-bed unit with moderate to high acuity, including those on Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Oncology services. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety and quality compliance. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• RN license required; ADN or BSN preferred.
• No prior experience necessary; 2+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree are preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a high-acuity environment.
