The successful candidate will supervise staff, manage budgets, collaborate with physicians, drive quality improvement, and mentor the nursing team to advance clinical services and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN or MSN required.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• Current CPR certification; specialty certification required with plan to obtain within two years.
• Minimum three years of progressive clinical experience and at least three years in management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees unit operations to ensure regulatory compliance and standards of patient care.
• Develops budgets, allocates resources, and monitors department costs and capital needs.
• Recruits, hires, evaluates, or discharges staff; ensures orientation and ongoing education.
• Develops policies, drives evidence-based practice, and implements quality improvement plans.
• Collaborates with physicians to coordinate care and enhance patient experience.
