Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL, seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager for the Intermediate Care Unit and Medical Surgical Unit. This full-time role offers a day shift schedule and an hourly pay range.

Responsibilities include managing the unit per regulatory standards, budgeting, staff leadership, policy development, and collaboration with physicians to improve patient care and experience. A BSN/MSN and IL licensure are required, with certification commitments within two years.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN required.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification; specialty certification required; plan to obtain within 2 years of hire.
• Three years of progressively responsible clinical experience and a minimum of three years in management.

Responsibilities

• Manages unit in compliance with regulatory agencies and maintains patient care standards.
• Assists in annual budgeting and business planning; allocates resources and monitors budgets.
• Interviews, hires, disciplines and evaluates staff; ensures orientation and training.
• Develops policies for the Clinical Area; communicates procedures and drives continuous improvement.
• Collaborates with physicians to identify patient needs and improve service delivery; represents department in meetings.
• Works to improve patient experience and nurse/employee satisfaction; mentors staff.
