Job summary

You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and participate in hourly rounding while maintaining safety and high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or obtain within six months of hire.
• Minimum two years of Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
• Arizona RN license required.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS as applicable by department.
• PALS or ENPC within 90 days.
• NRP for postpartum/nursery/L&D upon orientation.
• Wound/Ostomy certification or training.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an assigned unit.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
• Supervise and direct other healthcare staff as needed.
• Evaluate quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
• Participate in hourly rounding and ensure patient safety.
• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety needs on admission and ongoing.
• Implement orders and ensure appropriateness to patient status.
