Qualifications

• Active RN or LVN license in Texas (or compact license).
• Excellent clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and organization to manage workflows.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: Guide Nurse Aides to ensure residents receive proper care.
• Administer Medications: Safely give resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute care plans per policies, guidelines and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments to support resident health.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely charting and nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Ensure seamless communication across shifts.
• Educate Support Staff: Train staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Enforce infection control and body mechanics procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Arrange for replacement staff as needed.
